for Irrigation of 1940 hectares at Thailand |
Thailand is biggest exporter
of rice in the world. The government has embarked on large-scale
irrigation projects and introduced higher-yielding varieties
of rice in an effort to increase production. M+P was entrusted
with the Hua Na project for boosting irrigation of 1940
hectares of land. 4 large vertical turbine pumps, each
capable of pumping 7200 m3/hr. of water at a head of 20
meters, driven by 600 KW Motor with 1000 mm Butterfly
valves (hydraulic brake and lift type cylinder type manufactured
at our Pune works).
